Greetings, Alumnae!

My name is Aprileen Coh and I am very honored and excited to be your 2007-2008 National Board Alumnae Chair. I am an alumna of the University of California, Santa Cruz and currently am a graduate student pursuing a MS degree in Justice Studies at San Jose State University.

The reason I am involved with National Alumnae Board is because I would like to continue to contribute to the sorority that has given me so much. I truly believe that as a member of alpha Kappa Delta Phi, your membership is eternal. National Alumnae Board gives me an opportunity to contribute to the growth and expansion of the Alumnae Association in order to unite Sisters post-undergraduate studies.

I will be working diligently with your 2007-2008 National Alumnae Board in order to establish chapter Alumnae Associations nationwide, increase Alumnae Association membership, establish fundraising events and opportunities, further implement our mentor/mentee program and provide networking, sisterhood, service and social event opportunities. I encourage everyone to become an active alpha Kappa Delta Phi alumnae! You can do this by simply joining the Alumnae Association, filling out a survey, supporting your Regional Coordinator's events, attending Alumnae Convention, participating in or creating your Chapter's Alumnae Association, or donating to our National Scholarship Fund.

Feel free to contact me or any National Alumnae Board Member regarding any questions or comments you may have, or for a schedule of events in your region. I look forward to meeting and hearing from you. Best wishes!

Love & Friendship,
Aprileen Coh

How many of you have old aKDF paraphernalia gathering dust in the back of your closet?

We all know that the sweatshirts, t-shirts, baby tees, tank tops, halters tops, shorts, hats, scarves, and warm-up pants from our proud active days cannot be donated to Goodwill. Each piece has been embroidered, screen-printed, or double-stitched with the letters that we hold very dear to our hearts. But instead of letting them collect dust in the backs of our closets, how about creating much-needed space AND receiving a tax-deductible donation to the aKDF National Alumnae Association?

The National Alumnae Board Regional Coordinators and your chapter Alumnae Chairs have committed to make this donation as easy as possible for YOU!

To make a donation, just follow 3 very simple steps:

  • Put all your retired aKDF attire in a bag.
  • Fill out the short donation form so we know how many pieces of clothing or paraphernalia you are donating.
  • Contact the closest chapter Alumnae Chair or National Alumnae Board Regional Coordinator from the attached list to arrange a pick up/drop off.

It’s really THAT easy! So, let the National Alumnae Association help YOU do what you’ve been putting off for too long!
